Welcome to an online and ongoing collection of art works by Jim Rivers, a songwriter and poet from Portland, Oregon in the northwest corner of the US where the Willamette and the mighty Columbia rivers meet to form the heart of a city.

This is an artist's site. As such it may use graphics as it needs to. Although a fast loading web page is a good thing, the art comes first. It is a personal web site, not necessarily a commercial site. In short I use this site to express my curiosity about life and amuse myself. If you have a taste for other worlds and the inhabitants that live in them, then you may meet characters that live in interesting times here, whether as a blessing or a curse. If it amuses and distracts you from your own troubles for even a moment then it has been successful in more ways than one.

As I sometimes almost always never say... follow your heart, it might be worth the trouble.
